Dr. Stan is a dedicated Occupational Therapist with a profound passion for helping older adults thrive and maintain independence within their communities. His clinical expertise is matched by a commitment to advancing the profession; he has presented on the critical role of OT in neurodegenerative conditions at the Emory Brain Health Center and on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence and home care for the Minnesota Home Care Association. Additionally, his work has been featured at the American Homecare and Hospice Association national conference.

Stan’s academic journey began with a BS in Philosophy, followed by an MS in Occupational Therapy. He then went on to earn his Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he specialized in healthcare quality and safety. Beyond his clinical practice, Stan serves as a volunteer accreditation evaluator for the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE), ensuring excellence in the next generation of therapists. When he is not working or volunteering, Stan enjoys spending quality time with his wife, their son, and their two dogs, Gus and Buzz Pupperton.
