Stan Swanson has spent over a decade helping older adults maintain their independence and quality of life. Whether working in skilled nursing facilities or visiting clients in their own homes, Stanton brings a wealth of experience as both an Occupational Therapist and a Director of Rehabilitation.
Stanton believes in a holistic approach to care. His unique background, including a Bachelor's in Philosophy and a Master's in Occupational Therapy from the University of Central Arkansas, allows him to look at the "big picture" of a client's life. He also holds a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he specialized in Healthcare Quality and Safety.
Stanton is deeply committed to "productive aging"—helping clients thrive in their communities for as long as possible. He specializes in fostering shared decision-making between providers and patients and offers strategies to reduce caregiver burnout through occupational engagement.
In his free time, you can find Stanton hanging out with his wife, his son, and his two canine companions, Gus and Buzz Pupperton.
